December 6, 2014 African American AIDS Task Force (AAATF) will be hosting a fundraising event to celebrate its 20th Anniversary!  We invite you to join us and share in the festivities featuring entertainment, an award ceremony, and post-show reception.

The event will be emceed by T. Mychael Rambo, one of AAATF's founding members and a celebrated actor, vocalist, speaker and educator.

Greetings from the African American AIDS Task Force!                 

African American AIDS Task Force (AAATF) was founded by community members in order to address the disproportionate impact of HIV and AIDS on African American people living in Minnesota.  The mission of AAATF is to provide culturally specific HIV prevention, Education and Services to people of African descent who are living with or at risk of HIV/AIDS. 

Prevention Programs; WILLOW (women involved in life learning with other women), Early Intervention Services, Outreach, AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP), HIV testing & Counseling, and Prevention Education. Direct Service; are provided to hundreds of individuals living with HIV and AIDS; Medical Case Management, Medication Adherence, Transportation, Culturally Appropriate Support Groups, and Resource and Referral Services.

In celebration of 20 years of “HARAMBEE” the AAATF will be working together with some of the Twin Cities finest artists: Debbie Duncan, Ray Covington, Tonia Hughes, Cameron Wright and cast members from the Park Square Theater musical “The Color Purple:” Aimee K. Bryant, Jamecia Bennett, Thomasina Petrus, Marie Graham, Regina Marie Williams and... many others!

Time – House Opens at 7:30 P.M. - 11:00 P.M. Show Time: 8:00 – 9:30P.M.
